jenny tagged me and i must obey. well and also, i think BlogDay2007 is actually a pretty cool project. i already added a few sites that i have found through this to my bookmarks and i am more than happy to share some of my favorites with you :)

now here are the official rules:

1. Find 5 new Blogs that you find interesting
2. Notify the 5 bloggers that you are recommending them as part of BlogDay 2007
3. Write a short description of the Blogs and place a link to the recommended Blogs
4. Post the BlogDay Post (on August 31st) and
5. Add the BlogDay tag and a link to the BlogDay web site to your post

of course it’s not quite august 31st yet but really, isn’t it more fun to make the whole month a BlogDay? also, with the limited personal time left at work for me it would be impossible to check out all the recommended blogs/sites on one day. right? right!

so here are my five BlogDay2007-blogs:

shana logic – there’s not much i can say about this besides how much i LOVE the site. they offer one-of-a-kind original and limited edition creations from amazing artists and even though i haven’t [yet] bought anything, it’s so fun to simply look around the site… and if you end up buying something and loving it, even better! one of my favorites that i instantly fell in love with [and have yet to buy] are these mini-record-earrings. seriously, how cute are they?

designfruit – if you are only half as much in love with photoshop and design as i am, you will love this site. as a matter of fact, in that case, you probably already know it. but for those of you who don’t: check it out. you will find awesome photoshop-brushes and tons of other amazing design resources. simply great!

heisse scheisse – i only just discovered jen a few months ago and instantly loved her writing. she’s an american married to a german guy [sparky] living in germany [krautland] and it’s fun to read about her view of life in germany as an american…

joy unexpected – Y is a mom of three from southern california who [or whom?] i’ve been following for a few years now. she makes me cry, laugh, almost pee my pants and sometimes all of the aforementioned in one post. she’s also been struggling with her weight for a long time [which i can totally relate to] and has been through a lot over the last few years. still, she’s positive most of the time [at least on the outside] and she’s definitely on top of my list of the people i would like to meet in person one day. just hop on over and read her “about y” in the sidebar and you’ll get what i mean!

the in between is mine – san is a good friend of mine. we originally met online but our friendship has grown over the last few years. she just moved back to california last november to be with her husband after almost a year of visa-struggles and being apart. we’ve been through our long-distance-relationships together and shared the excitement of that finally being over for both of us last year. she just understands so many things [good and bad] about my relationship with C that no one else can understand. oh and her life is still pretty exciting. so stop by and show her some love…
